The private-funding thermometer rose by $8,905 in March, bringing the total for the year to $43,565 or 28.3% percent of the goal.

General donations, including the donation box, contributed $2.5K toward the total, while Tee Time ticket sales and sponsorships added $5K, and the annual fund received $100.

Revenue from library services for printing/copying, missing and damaged items, and room rental added $600 in March.

Finally, sales in the Friends’ Book Nook totaled $600, and the Friends thank everyone for the great turnout to their annual spring used-book sale last weekend. In turn, we thank the Friends for going all out to put on a really great sale–and also thank the many extra hands who helped to set up and clean up after.

If you missed the sale, stop in the Book Nook any time for great items at wallet-friendly prices–or join the Friends for as little as $10 and get involved in organizing the next one! Becoming a Friend is a great way to make new connections and support the library.
