Join local author and teacher Brandie Barndt as she shares her interactive fiction book, The Yellow Zone: Be Aware and Make Good Choices!
Brandie will talk with kids about how to stay safe, and will demonstrate some martial arts moves to break holds and get away. Brandie has trained in martial arts for more than 35 years.
Brandie Barndt is a teacher at Northampton Area Middle School. She wrote The Yellow Zone to teach kids about safety and situational awareness. Proceeds from sales benefit the PA State Police, Troop M, Camp Cadet program.
3rd – 6th grade.
