July added another $6,222 to private funding, bringing the total to $62,780, or 58.1% of the annual goal.
Last month, we received the funds from a $2,500 grant from the BB&T Foundation to help fund a STEM workstation. Thank you BB&T! Help us close the gap to make the workstation a reality.
Strong sales at the Friends’ Book Nook (nearly $1,300) were another large piece of July results. General donations and cash receipts from printing, fines and fees rounded out the rest.
