September brought a whole new crop of books to our stacks. Stephen King and Clive Cussler have new ones, and Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments–the long-awaited sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale–just arrived as well, and the wait list is growing (hint: if you don’t mind large print, or even prefer it, the wait tends to be shorter for that version, and we have both). More fan favorites including Heather Graham, Anne Perry and Vince Flynn are also out with new reads!
If your kids like fantasy fiction, they’ll enjoy the seven books in the Wings of Fire series by Tui Sutherland. Other picks for younger readers include a new book by David Lubar, two new biographies, and a fresh look at an old (but timeless) subject…dinosaurs.
