The private-funding thermometer rose by $5,451 in June, bringing the total to $64,337, or 47.2 percent of the goal.
Donations of nearly $4.5K, including private gifts, memorial gifts in honor of loved ones, and contributions to the donation box made up the bulk of last month’s results.
Sales in the Friends’ Book Nook added nearly $500, with cash receipts of $508 for lost and damaged items, printing/copying, and room rentals, rounding out the rest.
At the halfway mark for the year, the gap to the goal stands at $72,007.
