The private-funding thermometer rose by $4,103 in February, bringing the two-month total to $11,223, or 7.3 percent of the goal.

Tee Time was the biggest component, with sponsorships, ticket sales, and sales of raffle tickets totaling more than $2.5K, with annual fund donations and general gifts adding another $500.

Sales in the Friends’ Book Nook added $600 last month. Finally, cash receipts of roughly $250 for printing/copying, room rentals, damaged items, etc., rounded out the total.

Speaking of the Friends, please mark your calendar for their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Friends of EPL Used Book Sale, coming up April 25 & 26. It’s a great way to support the library while picking up some great books, DVDs and puzzles for all ages at bargain prices!

The book sale will be held at the library again — which will be open for regular business on those days as well.

Check out other ways to show your support for the library throughout the year — including gift or memorial booksvolunteering, and more.

THANK YOU!
