Enjoy a day of fun and fellowship on Saturday, September 21, when the Friends of the Emmaus Public Library host a bus trip to Winterthur Museum.
A highlight of the day will feature COSTUMING THE CROWN, a special exhibit of costumes designed for the Emmy Award-winning Netflix drama, The Crown. Be amazed by the elegance and style of 40 outfits worn throughout the first two seasons, including coronation robes, wedding dresses, crowns and tiaras as well as the more casual wear worn by the royals in the 1940’s and 1950’s.
The day will include a tour of Henry Francis du Pont’s majestic home and tram rides through the 1,000-acre garden. You can also explore Follies: Architectural Whimsey in the Garden, which features fantastic structures including a Gothic-inspired tower, a Neo-classical temple, and a fairy cottage.
Click on the flier for full details — $80 tickets include transportation, museum admission, and lunch. Reservations on a first-come-first-served basis.
