Our last ‘new items’ list of the year swings to the younger set, with 15 new Rainbow Magic fairy books and six new Whatever After books leading the charge. Miss Sue has also been finishing out the year by replacing some ‘well-loved’ items (especially picture books), making good use of generous patron donations that come her way.
To keep the kidlets entertained on their holiday break, be sure to check out the two Lego books on the list, more Animaniacs and Thomas the Train DVDs, and some fun CDs and DVDs for learning French.
New additions for the grown-ups include Val McDermid, M.C. Beaton, the Downton Abbey Cookbook, and a new parenting book to help said kidlets learn how to stay calm, focused and positive through fun and simple mindfulness practices. Oh, and Leo and Brad together in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
