The private-funding thermometer rose by $8,820 in February, bringing the total for the year to $34,660 or 22.5% percent of the goal.
Donations accounted for roughly $2.5K of the total and included $1K from the Friends to support this year’s Summer Reading Club. Thank you Friends!
Tee Time sponsorships, ticket sales, and sales of raffle tickets contributed more than $4K, with annual fund donations adding nearly $800.
Sales in the Friends’ Book Nook totaled $729 in February, with library services revenue of $575 for printing/copying, missing/damaged items, etc., rounding out the rest.
Speaking of the Friends, be sure to attend their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Friends of EPL Used Book Sale on April 24 & 25. It’s a great way to support the library while picking up some great items at bargain prices!
The book sale will be held at the library — which will be open for regular business on those days as well.
