Private-funding results are in for the first month of 2026. Let’s take a look….
This year’s target is $153,982, a bit lower than last year’s thanks to a slight increase in funding for libraries in the PA state budget. EPL’s private-funding goal represents the projected gap between our budget and the funding provided by state and local municipalities, which covers roughly 66%.
In January, private funding totaled $25,840, with the largest component being annual fund contributions of more than $11K. In addition, general donations totaled $10.5K, and Tee Time sponsorships added another $2,725.
The rest of last month’s total came from sales in the Friends’ Book Nook ($660) along with ‘library services’ revenue of $528 for printing and copying, lost and damaged items, etc.
