Help divert materials from landfills while encouraging environmentally friendly creation! Bring new or gently used art & craft materials to the library and swap them for something new.
Guidelines:
- Art & craft materials only.
- Two boxes worth total.
- Must be fit for reuse (new or gently used; not expired)
- Must fit in your car.
- When in doubt, use the ‘bestie’ rule: would I give this item to my best friend?
How to participate:
- Bring your donations to the swap.
- Can’t make the swap but have materials to share? Drop them off at the front desk from Oct. 5 to Oct. 7.
- Pre-swap — share the supplies you have and those you want on the Facebook event page for the swap. Line up some swaps and exchange goods at the event. No buying or selling.
