The private-funding thermometer rose by $7,788 in October, bringing the total to $98,711, or 72.4 percent of the goal.
Contributions to the annual fund added $5,385. Thank you to the many patrons and residents who have already contributed. There’s still time to make your tax-deductible donation online, in person, or by mail. Go here for info.
General donations (including the donation box) added another $1,252, while cash receipts for lost and damaged items, printing/copying, and room rentals totaled $652.
Finally, sales in the Friends’ Book Nook generated $500 in October–and the Friends are gearing up for their Holiday Book Sale with lots of gift-worthy items for everyone on your list. Check out all the great deals Friday, Dec. 6, 6-8 p.m. at the library.
