On the heels of a great September, the thermometer got another nice boost last month, with $19,596 added to the total.
Contributions to the annual fund campaign made up the biggest portion ($8,213), along with two private donations totaling $6K that arrived just before annual fund letters went out.
Last month’s results also included a $1,250 donation from Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, sponsors of the Nov. 15 free flu vaccine clinic.
Work is already under way for the second annual Tee Time at the Library (April 29 & 30, 2022) and sponsors are getting on board, accounting for nearly $1K of last month’s tally.
Sales in the Friends’ Book Nook added nearly $750, and the Friends are gearing up for the return of their Holiday Book Sale on Dec. 3, 6-8 p.m., at the library.
Finally, cash receipts (printing, damaged/lost items, etc.) added another $1,135 to the total.
As we noted last month, overall results include funds received for the STEM workstation — which is now fully funded and due to arrive later this month. This item was in addition to the yearly budget/private-funding goal of $108,034, making the adjusted total $99,842.
We are still awaiting word about 2022 funding from our three local municipalities. Thank you to those who’ve reached out to your local council members to express your support. Stay tuned.
