Did you grow up watching animé? Want to watch some more?

All ages are welcome to join us for (dubbed) Japanese animation.

This month, we’ll be watching an hour of Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water,
a steampunk adventure show about a young girl who must escape from rascally villains in the 1800s to find her way home.

We’ll also be meeting on March 7 at 10:15 a.m. to watch a full-length feature film.

What is animé? The word ‘animé’ means “animated cartoon” in Japanese. Outside of Japan, the term refers to any animated show or movie that uses aspects of Japanese-style animation, such as vibrant colors, dramatic panning, and characteristic facial expressions.
