Valid photo identification is required, such as driver’s license, government issued non-driver ID card, passport or other form of government identification providing it is current and contains a signature or a photograph. Documents that contain blank spaces should be filled out by the signer prior to notarization. An original signature of the person requesting the notarization is required. Only documents in English can be notarized at this time. If a witness is needed, the witness must be known by the person requesting notarization and provide a valid photo identification as listed above. The library will not provide witnesses and witnesses may not be solicited from the library patrons or staff.
