The private-funding thermometer rose by $8,016 in April, bringing the total for the year to $51,581, or 33.5% percent of the goal.
The biggest boost came from general donations of $6.1K, including a matching donation of $4.3K, $733 from the Friends of EPL, and contributions to the donation box.
The annual fund received $375 last month, while sales in the Friends’ Book Nook contributed nearly $750. Finally, revenue from library services for printing/copying, missing and damaged items, and room rental also added roughly $750 in April.
